John L. Schwab has dedicated his entire legal career to representing people who have been harmed. Recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers for four consecutive years, he works exclusively on behalf of employees in cases involving workplace harassment, discrimination, fair pay violations, whistleblower complaints, retaliation, and more.
Prior to joining Alexander Morrison + Fehr LLP, John completed a prestigious fellowship at Panish Shea & Boyle LLP, a trial law firm ranked as one of the “Best Law Firms” by U.S. News & World Report. He also worked for two exceptional employment law firms in Pasadena and Downtown Los Angeles, where he secured millions of dollars on behalf of hard-working people wronged in the workplace. He is passionate about trial work and has second-chaired cases at trial, conducting direct and cross-examination of expert and lay witnesses and arguing motions in limine.
Born in Los Angeles and raised in Dayton, Ohio, John earned a degree in international studies cum laude and with honors from Wright State University. He earned his law degree from UC Davis School of Law (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Hall), where he was Senior Notes and Comments Editor for the UC Davis Law Review, a teaching assistant for Professor Margaret Johns, and a tutor to first-year law students.
John is active in the employment law community. He serves on the editorial board for the California Labor and Employment Law Review and is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association’s Mentorship Committee.
John is fluent in Farsi and in his spare time enjoys playing drums, exercising, and going to the beach with friends.
