Andrew Howard is committed to advocating for workers and civil rights. He focuses his practice in the areas of employment discrimination, harassment, whistleblower retaliation, wrongful termination, and civil rights.
Prior to working at Alexander Morrison + Fehr LLP, Andrew gained experience at a major law firm working on complex litigation issues across a wide range of industries. Andrew has extensive pro bono experience representing victims of police misconduct and advocacy for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals.
Andrew Howard earned his law degree from Columbia Law School, where he was named a James Kent Scholar (highest annual academic award) and received the Dean’s Honors Awards for the top performance in ‘State and Local Government Law’ and ‘Law and Policy of Homelessness.’ He served as a Notes Editor on the Columbia Human Rights Law Review, where he published a note on elected Public Defenders. Additionally, Mr. Howard worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Michael Heller, and a Teaching Assistant for Professor John Pfaff. Andrew received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating magna cum laude in the College Honors Program.
A native Angeleno, Andrew enjoys karaoke, soccer, public transportation, and rooting for Los Angeles sports teams.
