In January, 2017, AM+F associate Renee Amador was elected to the Board of Directors for the National Lawyers Guild – Los Angeles Chapter. The National Lawyers Guild is a civil rights organization founded in 1937. Its continuing mission is to “unite lawyers, law students, legal workers and jailhouse lawyers to function as an effective force in the service of the people, to the end that human rights shall be regarded as more sacred than property interests.
